The
Massey Maulers play Presidents Grade rugby in the North Harbour
Competition. The home ground for the team is at
Moire Park
where the clubrooms and changing rooms cater for the boys after a hard
game of rugby; that is a shower, food and a beer .....especially the
beer!!
Prezzies grade caters for the more experienced players, those who have achieved the remarkable age of 35yrs and above. The grade is social (sort of) and there is no winner on the day (yeah right)! The hits can still be hard, the legs aren't always willing, the forwards weigh a little more than in their heyday and the backs still think they have those silky skills of yesteryear, but as long as we can walk off the field and enjoy a few beers with the opposition, then life is bliss. |
